The 2018 Opel Insignia is a good looking buddy. It has wide and low stance head with sporty looks, while the body profile has long wheelbase and extended roofline. There is a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine that can generate 210 horsepower at 4,000 rpm with 354-lbs of torque at 1,500 rpm. Once you put your foot down, you can sprint up to 62 mph in 7.9 seconds. Meanwhile, the gas engine can generate 260 horsepower and 295-lbs of torque.
The steering power is accurate and calm so you can drive easily on the highway for hours. But, the steering connection isn’t really good because you can’t alter your accelerator position to alter the cornering balance.
The other standard spec includes FlexRide chassis system. The system has adaptable components to maximize the grip by shifting the settings for the dampers and steering system. It also changes the throttle response sharpness and shifts points for an 8-speed automatic to maximizing comfort.
2018 Opel Insignia Price and Release Date
The Opel has announced the price range for the sedan. A starting price for the sedan is 25,940 euros or $27,260. Meanwhile, the Sports Tourer model has a base price of 26,940 euros or about $28,721. Since February 17, the station wagon has been ready on the dealer.
